On June 6th, Domino’s Pizza, Inc (NYSE: DPZ), the recognized world leader in pizza delivery, visited NYSE Euronext to celebrate a milestone. Listed since July 2004, this year marks Domino’s 25th anniversary of the first Domino’s Pizza store opened outside the US. Since 1983, when a young entrepreneur began delivering pizza to Canada residents, Domino’s has been operating in over 8,600 stores in more than 55 countries, from Iceland to New Zealand making it an international operation.
In connection with this celebration, Domino’s cooked up something special for the Exchange: International Pizzas!! NYSE Euronext employees were happy to participate in a taste test of three international flavors:
- The "L’Indienne" from France which features Créme Fraiche, mozzarella, provolone and emmental cheeses, roasted chicken or bacon, mushrooms and onions
- The "Mayo Jaga" from Japan which features canned sliced potatoes, canned corn, bacon, onions and Japanese mayonnaise
- The "Melt Down" from Ireland which features pepper jack cheese and mozzarella, meatballs, red peppers, jalapeno peppers, and yellow mustard.
