Baltimore/New York, May 16, 2008 – The New York Stock Exchange, a subsidiary of NYSE Euronext (NYSE Euronext: NYX) has agreed to be the key sponsor of the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association (MAVA)’s Capital ConnectionsSM 2008 conference in Baltimore, Maryland.
The Mid-Atlantic region is home to numerous high-quality public, private and leading growth companies, including publicly-traded, NYSE-listed Under Armour, Inc. (NYSE: UA). Panel discussions at the conference will feature presentations by public companies such as Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT) and prominent venture professionals such as Ed Mathias, Managing Director at The Carlyle Group and co-chair of Capital Connection 2008.

The companies were chosen on their strong business models, performance metrics, industry impact and demonstrated growth. These companies generate annual revenues from $30 million to $1 billion.
