It sells its products primarily to distributors, and the balance directly to hospitals, clinics, government agencies, original design manufacturer (ODM) customers and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) customers. In June 2007, the Company received 510(k) clearance from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its BC-3200, an automatic three-part differential hematology analyzer, and Hypervisor VI, a central monitoring system. On April 20, 2006, the Company acquired approximately 8.9% of the minority interest in Shenzhen Mindray Bio-Medical Electronics Co., Ltd.
