Simcere Pharmaceutical Group is a manufacturer and supplier of branded generic pharmaceuticals in the Chinese market. Its focus is to introduce generic and pharmaceutical products for the treatment of diseases with high incidence and/or mortality rate. The Company has introduced a generic anti-stroke medication under the brand name, Bicun, and an anti-cancer medication under the brand name, Endu, also known as Endostar. Simcere Pharmaceutical manufactures and sells 35 pharmaceutical products, including antibiotics, an anti-cancer medication and an anti-stroke medication, and is the distributor of three additional pharmaceuticals that are marketed under its brand names, including anti-inflammatory pain relievers. In addition, it has obtained approvals from the China State Food and Drug Administration to manufacture and sell 100 other products. In November 2007, the Company acquired Master Luck Corporation Limited, which holds 85.7% of Nanjing Tung Chit Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
