Officials and guests of sanofi-aventis visit the NYSE to promote “Frosted Pink presented by sanofi-aventis and Wachovia,” a television event to raise awareness of, and inspire action, in the fight against women’s cancers. In honor of the occasion, Gregory Irace, President and CEO, sanofi-aventis U.S. Pharmaceutical Operations, and Olympic gold medalist and figure skating world champion Oksana Baiul, ring The Opening BellSM.
The star-studded program, which includes Rascal Flatts, Peggy Fleming, Sharon Osbourne, Olivia Newton-John, Oksana Baiul, and many others, will feature a dynamic mix of music, figure skating and Hollywood stars to empower women, raise awareness of women’s cancers and inspire action. The show airs on ABC at 4 p.m. on Sun., Oct 14.
Frosted Pink
The goal of Frosted Pink is to inspire women to move beyond awareness of women’s cancers and take action by making a difference in people’s lives. This belief is at the core of four of the country’s most effective cancer advocacy organizations and each have aligned with Frosted Pink in a concerted effort to support this mission. They are: the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC), the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (NCCS), the Gynecologic Cancer Foundation (GCF), and the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance (OCNA).

sanofi-aventis is a pharmaceutical group engaged in the research, development, manufacture and marketing of healthcare products.
