The Deutsche Bank Championship
Now in its fifth year, the Deutsche Bank Championship is one of the premier events on the PGA TOUR and has become a New England Labor Day tradition. This year’s Championship will feature a record $7 million purse and a $1.26 million winner’s check. Capacity crowds will pack the TPC Boston grounds to watch defending champion Woods battle the likes of Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els, 2004 champion Vijay Singh, Retief Goosen and the rest of the game’s elite. The Deutsche Bank Championship also benefits the community, having raised more than $7 million for the Tiger Woods Learning Center and host of local and regional charities in its first four years.
