Forty teachers from 14 states and three from the United Kingdom ring The Opening BellSM as part of the NYSE Euronext Teachers Workshop Graduate Program. The graduate program offers teachers an update on current issues.
The NYSE Teachers Workshop Program was created in 1988 to provide educators with information and skills to include the stock market across curriculum disciplines. The Graduate Program dates back to 1993 when teachers expressed an interest for an update on current issues. More than 4,000 teachers have attended the program over the 20 year period.
