Darden School of Business
At Darden, respect and camaraderie are the hallmark of a community that is strong and supportive, including students, faculty, staff, administration, alumni and visitors. The numerous organizations, events, and activities at Darden encourage socializing among community members that further strengthens ties.

First Coffee is a tradition dating to the School's founding 50 years ago and one that epitomizes Darden's community spirit. Every morning after first class, students, faculty, staff, and visitors gather in the PepsiCo Forum to socialize over a cup of coffee or tea. Periodically, special announcements, award presentations, and performances by Darden's a capella group, the Cold Call Chorus, enliven this informal, community-wide assembly.

In Darden's classrooms, MBA students have no choice but to be fully engaged in the learning process. The Darden case method, coupled with our Four-Step learning process, demands complete understanding of real-world business situations. Students learn to be decisive under pressure and show up to class prepared to think, decide and act.
