Nidec Corporation is a Japan-based manufacturing company that mainly offers various motors and related products. The Company manufactures and sells small-sized motors, such as precision direct current (DC) motors, precision fans, vibrating motors and materials for parts; medium-sized motors, including motors for household, industrial and in-vehicle use, and equipment and devices, encompassing transmissions, reducers and factory automation (FA) equipment. Nidec is also involved in the manufacture and sale of electronic parts, optical parts, music boxes and automobile parts, as well as the assembly of robots, the overseas procurement of part materials and the provision of distribution and other services. Headquartered in Kyoto, Nidec has 94 subsidiaries and five associated companies in the country and overseas markets, including the United States, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, China, Germany, the Philippines, Vietnam and Korea.
