TransDigm Group Incorporated (TD Group) is primarily a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, the Company designs, produces and supplies engineered aircraft components for use in commercial and military aircraft. Its product offerings for the aerospace industry include ignition systems and components, gear pumps, mechanical/electromechanical actuators and controls, NiCad batteries/chargers, power conditioning devices, hold-open rods and locking devices, engineered connectors, lavatory hardware and components, specialized alternating current/direct current (AC/DC) electric motors, and specialized valving. TD Group operates through its subsidiary, TransDigm Holding Company (TransDigm Holdings), and through TransDigm Holdings' wholly owned subsidiary, TransDigm Inc. On June 30, 2005, TransDigm Inc., through its subsidiary, Skurka Aerospace Inc., acquired an aerospace motor product line from Eaton Corporation. On January 28, 2005, TransDigm Inc. acquired Fluid Regulators Corporation.
