The Children’s Aid Society is one of the nation’s oldest and largest non-sectarian children’s services agencies, serving over 150,000 children and their families in New York City without regard to race, religion, nationality or socio-economic status. Children's Aid's network of services includes community schools, community- and school-based health care, neighborhood centers, camps, adoption and foster care services, teen pregnancy prevention, education, arts and recreation. With over 40 sites and an annual operating budget of over $72 million, The Children's Aid Society is a leader in providing innovative, cost-effective programs; over ninety-one cents our of every dollar is spent directly on services to children.
