Accessing NYSE MatchPoint is fast and easy. Users can submit single orders or upload multiple portfolios of orders through FIX or the NYSE MatchPoint web-based front end. Orders are transmitted from member firm desks, member firm Direct Market Access (DMA) and Execution Management System (EMS) platforms, member firm algorithm services or member firm sponsored linkages. Sponsored Participants of NYSE MatchPoint that have direct access can connect through the same linkages.

Connecting to NYSE MatchPoint

Currently, you can use your existing NYSE Arca FIX connection, existing Secure Financial Transaction Infrastructure (SFTI) network connection, or a secure internet session to gain access to the NYSE MatchPoint facility.

If you require new connectivity to NYSE Arca or SFTI, you will need to contact the FIX Support Group at 888-689-7739 or email connectivity@nyx.com.

NYSE MatchPoint Web-based Front End

The NYSE MatchPoint web-based front end is password protected and uses the HTTPS secured communication protocol. It can be accessed over the SFTI network or over the internet using an RSA encrypted key. Authorized NYSE MatchPoint Users can submit single orders or multiple portfolios; apply share, cash and internal matching constraints as well as access their order and execution report information.

NYSE MatchPoint FIX Access

NYSE MatchPoint is accessible over the same standard FIX gateway used for access to our equities markets. The FIX implementation is similar to what is used for our other exchange platforms. You can even use the same FIX sessions you currently have in place for NYSE Arca.

NYSE Arca offers an ad hoc test platform for clients to test their applications before the certification process begins. Contact the FIX group if you are interested in setting up a test session.

Prior to going into production with your MatchPoint application you will be required to certify your application using our automated “ARCA cert” test tool. Call the FIX hotline for a session and instructions on how to use the platform. Once you have completed certification, the FIX group assist in the live set up.
