NYSE e-Broker® is a wireless handheld order-management tool that helps floor brokers trade faster and more efficiently while staying connected to their firms' floor booths and trading desks.
   Currently, brokers use e-Broker to execute an average of 483 million shares daily, as well as to send and receive an average of 300 messages daily to and from their trading desks and BBSS.

With e-Broker, brokers increase their productivity and accuracy:
  • Receive and view orders
  • Electronically send orders to the specialist display book
  • Partial out a large order and work it electronically throughout the trading day
  • Send market looks – the quick sizing up of trading interest – to the trading desk via email
  • Track cancel and cancel/replace messages

NYSE e-Broker Lite runs on the Compaq iPAQ device weighing only 6 ounces and measuring 5.1 by 3.3 inches. Enter data using the software keyboard or through stored lists of frequently used information.
