CATHERINE LANGLAIS
EXECUTIVE LEGAL DIRECTOR and GENERAL COUNSEL, NYSE EURONEXT
Catherine Langlais has been the General Counsel of Euronext NV and the Executive Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs for the company in Europe since 2004.
Her responsibilities include participating in strategy, development policy, and the supervision of all legal matters for NYSE Euronext in Europe . In addition, she supervises the regulation and compliance functions of the NYSE Euronext exchanges, and the European Affairs and Market Integrity Departments.
From 1999 to 2004, Ms. Langlais headed the legal department at SBF-Parisbourse following the mergers of SBF, the French securities exchange, MATIF SA, the French futures exchange, and MONEP, the options exchange.
From 1990 to 1999, Ms. Langlais headed the legal department and was responsible for the creation of the regulation department at MATIF SA.
From 1977 to 1990, Ms. Langlais worked as an inhouse lawyer at Credit National, a French credit institution.
