JAMES J. McNULTY

Mr. McNulty, age 57, has served as a director of NYSE Euronext and its predecessors since December 2005. Mr. McNulty is also the chairperson of the board of directors of NYSE Liffe. He served as a director of Archipelago Holdings LLC (

United States

) from August 2004 to March 2006. Mr. McNulty retired from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange where he served as president and chief executive officer from February 2000 to December 2003, and of Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings Inc. from August 2001 to December 2003. He also served as a director on both entities’ boards during that period. Prior to joining the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, he served as managing director and co-head of the Corporate Analysis and Structuring Team in the Corporate Finance Division at Warburg Dillon Read, an investment banking firm now known as UBS Warburg. Mr. McNulty also serves as the senior independent director of ICAP plc and serves on the advisory board of Marvin & Palmer Associates.
