SHIRLEY ANN JACKSON

Dr. Jackson has been a Director of NYSE Group since December 1, 2005 and also served as a Director of the NYSE from November 2003 to March 7, 2006, the date on which the merger of the NYSE and Archipelago was completed.
Dr. Jackson, 59, is also the chairperson of the board of directors of NYSE Regulation. Dr. Jackson has been president of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute since 1999. From 1995 to 1999, she was Chairman of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
Dr. Jackson also serves as a Director of Federal Express Corporation, Public Service Enterprise Group Incorporated, Marathon Oil Corporation, International Business Machines Corporation and Medtronic, Inc.
