SIR GEORGE COX

Sir George has been a member of the supervisory board of Euronext since April 18, 2002.
Before that, he was a Senior Independent Director of London International Financial Futures & Options Exchange (LIFFE) (United Kingdom) from 1999 until the acquisition of LIFFE by Euronext in 2002. He was Director general of the Institute of Directors, an organization representing individual company directors in the United Kingdom, from 1999 to 2004, and director of Enterprise Insight (United Kingdom) from 2000 to 2005.
Sir George, 66, is XChairman of the Design Council, the United Kingdom’s national strategic body for design. He also serves as a Senior Independent Director of Bradford & Bingley (United Kingdom), as a Non-Executive director of Shorts (United Kingdom), and as Chairman of charitable organization Merlin (Medical Emergency Relief International).
