The NYSE Euronext Board of Directors, elected annually, is comprised of a majority of independent directors, an independent, non-executive chairman and deputy chairman, and the chief executive officer and deputy chief executive officer of NYSE Euronext.

Chairman
	Jan-Michiel Hessels Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Hessels is the chairman of the Board of NYSE Euronext, and he has been the chairman of the supervisory board of Euronext N.V. since its creation in September 2000.

Deputy Chairman
	Marsh Carter Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Marshall N. Carter is the deputy chairman of the Board of NYSE Euronext, and he has served as chairman of the Board of Directors of NYSE Group, Inc. and its predecessor, the New York Stock Exchange, since April 7, 2005. Mr. Carter, 65, has been a director since December 2003.
