On Wednesday, February 20
, executives and guests of Global X Funds, the New York based provider of exchange traded funds, will visit the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to celebrate the recent launch of their suite of MLP ETFs. The Global X MLP and Junior MLP ETFs are designed to help investors generate income in today's low yield environment while also tapping into the energy renaissance that is taking place in America. The ETFs trade on NYSE Arca, the all-electronic trading platform of NYSE Euronext.
In recognition of this occasion, CEO Bruno del Ama will ring the NYSE Opening Bell.
The Global X MLP ETF (MLPA) is a comprehensive benchmark of the MLP asset class and provides exposure to MLPs engaged in the transportation, storage and production of natural resources. The Global X Junior MLP ETF (MLPJ) is the first and only ETF to provide access to the often overlooked small-cap segment of the MLP market, which is expected to benefit from the continued build out of energy infrastructure in the US.
