Executives and guests from BMCC will visit the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to celebrate the college's 50th anniversary.
To mark the occasion, BMCC President Dr. Antonio Pérez will ring the NYSE Opening Bell.
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) of the City University of New York (CUNY), BMCC's President, Dr. Antonio Perez, will ring The Opening Bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday, June 9, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. Perez will be accompanied by BMCC Foundation Chair Christine Larsen and Secretary/Treasurer Laura Morrison, Senior Vice-President at NYSE Euronext, and a group of BMCC students. BMCC is celebrating its 50th year and the reopening of Fiterman Hall at 245 Greenwich Street, a full recovery of the college after the 9/11 attacks. With 24,000 highly diverse students, BMCC is the largest community college in Manhattan and the only community college in lower Manhattan.
