| United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS) is a package delivery company. The Company operates in three segments: U.S. Domestic Package operations, International Package operations, and Supply Chain & Freight operations. U.S. Domestic Package operations include the delivery of letters, documents, and packages throughout the United States. International Package operations includes delivery of letters, documents and packages to more than 220 countries and territories worldwide, including shipments wholly outside the United States, as well as shipments from or to the United States with another country as the destination or origin point. Supply Chain & Freight consists of its forwarding and logistics operations, UPS Freight, and other related businesses. In February 2011, the Company announced the expansion of its UPS Express Freight service into Israel and Slovakia. During the year ended December 31 2010, UPS completed a restructuring of its U.S. package operations. |
