| iShares MSCI EAFE Small Cap Index Fund (the Fund) is an exchange-traded fund. The Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the MSCI EAFE Small Cap Index (the underlying index). The MSCI EAFE Small Cap Index targets 40% of the eligible small cap universe in each industry group of each country represented by the MSCI EAFE Index. The Funds investment objective and its Underlying Index may be changed without shareholder approval. As of June 30, 2007, the MSCI EAFE Small Cap Index consisted of 21 developed market country indexes: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Barclays Global Fund Advisors (BGFA) is the investment adviser to the Fund. |
