| Coca-Cola Femsa SAB de CV is a Mexican bottler of Coca-Cola trademark beverages in Latin America. The Company produces, markets and distributes Coca-Cola trademark beverages, its own brands and brands licensed from third parties. The Company's beverage segments include colas, flavored drinks, water and non-carbonated beverages, such as juices and isotonics. It operates in Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama,Venezuela, Argentina and Brazil, and has 30 bottling facilities in Latin America. The Company's principal brand is Coca-Cola and its line extensions, Coca-Cola light, Coca-Cola with lime and Coca-Cola light with lime. Ciel, Fanta, Sprite, Lift and Fresca represent Coca-Cola FEMSA's flavored drinks segment, which accounted for 22% of sales in 2006. In October 2007, the Company acquired 100% of shares of non-carbonated drinks producer, Jugos del Valle S.A. de C.V. The Company is headquartered in Santa Fe, Mexico. |
