| WisdomTree International Hedged Equity Fund (the Fund) seeks investment results that closely correspond to the price and yield performance of the WisdomTree DEFA International Hedged Equity Index (the Index). The Index is a dividend-weighted index designed to provide exposure to developed world, non-United States equity securities while at the same time neutralizing exposure to fluctuations between the value of the United States dollar and non-United States currencies reflected in the Index. The Index is designed to have higher returns than an equivalent non-currency hedged investment when the United States dollar is going up in value relative to foreign currencies. Conversely, the Index is designed to have lower returns than an equivalent non-hedged investment when the United States dollar is falling in value relative to foreign currencies.
