As an unchallenged leader in listing high-quality companies that are included in leading global indexes, the NYSE Arca's trading of ETF products is complementary to its core equity trading business.
As of the end of 2007, we are proud to list 240 ETFs and ETNs on NYSE Arca representing 56% of all assets under management within the US ETF marketplace. We expanded our list to 16 sponsors by adding 10 new ETF and ETN issuers this year. One of the many reasons so many sponsors are listing on NYSE Arca is because our marketplace sets the national best bid and offer 85% of the time, more than any other exchange.
