Company Description
iShares MSCI Japan Index Fund (the Fund) seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the MSCI Japan Index (the Index). The Index seeks to measure the performance of the Japanese equity market. It is a capitalization-weighted index that aims to capture 85% of the (publicly available) total market capitalization. Component companies are adjusted for available float and must meet objective criteria for inclusion to the Index. The Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index. Due to the use of representative sampling, the Fund may or may not hold all of the securities that are included in the Index. iShares MSCI Japan Index Fund's investment advisor is Barclays Global Fund Advisors.
