| iShares MSCI All Peru Capped Index Fund (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond to the price and yield performance of the MSCI All Peru Capped Index (the Index). The Fund's index provider is MSCI Inc. (MSCI). The Index is a free float-adjusted market capitalization index designed to measure the performance of the Broad Peru Equity Universe. MSCI defines the Broad Peru Equity Universe by indentifying Peruvian equity securities that are classified in Peru according to the MSCI Global Investable Market Indices Methodology, as well as securities of companies that are headquartered in Peru and have the majority of their operations based in Peru. It invests at least 80% of its assets in the securities of its Index and depository receipts representing securities in the Index. It will concentrate its investments in a particular industry or group of industries to approximately the same extent that its Index is concentrated.
