| PowerShares DB Silver Fund (the Fund) is a separate series of PowerShares DB Multi-Sector Commodity Trust (the Trust), a Delaware statutory trust organized in seven separate series. The Fund invests with a view to tracking the changes, whether positive or negative, in the level of the Deutsche Bank Liquid Commodity Index-Optimum Yield Silver Excess Return (DBLCI-OY SI ER, or the Index) plus the excess, if any, of the Fund's income from its holdings of the United States Treasury Obligations and other high credit quality short-term fixed income securities over the expenses of the Fund. The single commodity comprising the Index (the Index Commodity), is silver. DB Commodity Services LLC is a managing owner of the Fund. |
