ChoicePoint operates through four service groups, including the Insurance Services, Screening and Authentication Services, Business Services and Marketing Services. On January 31, 2007, the Company sold EquiSearch Services Inc. On February 28, 2007, ChoicePoint completed the selling of The Bode Technology Group, Inc. On July 1, 2007, the Company entered into a joint venture with Data Trace Information Services LLC (Data Trace). On February 5, 2008, the Company completed the acquisition of Optimal Decisions Group Pty Ltd. In June 2008, ChoicePoint sold its government software business, specifically i2 Inc. and i2 Ltd., to Silver Lake Sumeru. |
