| Analog Devices, Inc. designs, manufactures and markets analog, mixed-signal and digital signal processing integrated circuits used in industrial, communication, computer and consumer applications. The Company produces a range of products that are designed to meet the signal processing technology needs of a broad base of customers. During the fiscal year ended November 3, 2007 (fiscal 2007), approximately 47% of the Company's product revenue came from the industrial market, which includes factory automation, medical equipment, scientific instrumentation, automatic test equipment, automotive electronics, security equipment, and aerospace and defense systems. On February 21, 2006, the Company completed the sale to Ikanos Communications, Inc. of its DSP-based digital subscriber line (DSL) application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) and network processor product line.
