Description
The Teachers' Workshop program is designed to give teachers a thorough understanding of the capital raising process, the NYSE's market system, technology, and regulation and surveillance. Educational materials and workshops enable teachers to translate the information to classroom curricula.
The 5-day program is both intense and exciting. It includes speakers from NYSE staff and constituents, lecture-discussion sessions, support materials, hands-on activities and field trips. Teachers also visit the trading floor, where they interface with market professionals. Teacher workshops provide a learning opportunity for teachers enabling them to share experiences and develop new curriculum approaches.

Expenses
There is no charge for the course. The Exchange provides continental breakfast, lunch and all course materials free of charge.

Program Description
Spend a full day at the NYSE and experience the Trading Floor firsthand. The program is tailored to meet the needs of professors who are teaching, writing, or being interviewed by the media about markets. Professors have the opportunity to meet with staff from any division about which they are conducting research.
