Description
The Teachers' Workshop program is designed to give teachers a thorough understanding of the capital raising process, the NYSE's market system, technology, and regulation and surveillance. Educational materials and workshops enable teachers to translate the information to classroom curricula.
The 5-day program is both intense and exciting. It includes speakers from NYSE Euronext staff and constituents, lecture-discussion sessions, support materials, hands-on activities and field trips. Teachers also visit the trading floor, where they interface with market professionals. Teacher workshops provide a learning opportunity for teachers enabling them to share experiences and develop new curriculum approaches.
