Compensation
The Exchange compensation program is founded on the belief that paying fair and equitable performance-based salaries will return long term benefits to both the Exchange and our employees. We deliver great value through the combination of total cash compensation and a comprehensive benefits program.
Benefits:
Health Care Coverage - Managerial/Professional employees, their dependents and/or domestic partner are eligible for health care coverage on their first day of employment. The Exchange gives employees flexibility in the kind of health care coverage they receive.
Dental Care Plan - The dental plan is a comprehensive plan giving employees flexibility.
Vision Care Plan - Vision plan benefits include coverage for examinations, lenses, frames, and contact lenses.
Life Insurance - The Exchange offers several life insurance options for managerial/professional employees. Coverage begins on the first day of employment in the Group Life Insurance Plan, which pays an immediate lump sum to a beneficiary. In addition, employees may participate in a voluntary Supplemental Life Insurance Plan which provides coverage for the employee, spouse/domestic partner and eligible children.
Spending Accounts - Spending Accounts allow employees to set aside dollars, before they are taxed, to pay certain expenses. Employees can establish two separate accounts: one for health care expenses that are non-reimbursable and one for dependent care expenses.
Savings Plan - Managerial/Professional employees are eligible to participate in the voluntary tax-deferred 401(k) Savings Plan. They may choose to contribute on a before-tax or after tax basis, up to six percent of their salary, and the Exchange will match this contribution 100%. The employee may make before-tax or after-tax contributions of an additional 19 percent of his/her annual salary. These contributions are not matched by the Exchange. Although withdrawals are subject to restrictions, the plan also has a loan feature.
Depending on the employee's financial objectives, he/she may choose to invest in one or more of the funds offered in the plan that cover a broad spectrum of risk and reward.
The Savings Plan permits employees to roll over contributions from another qualified plan (such as a former employer's plan) or an IRA that was established as a rollover account from a prior company distribution.
Employee Development and Career Advancement - We encourage employees to develop skills and knowledge by participating in seminars, workshops and other educational programs. Management and professional development programs are offered to staff at all levels.
Tuition Refund Program - Employees are eligible to participate in the Tuition Refund Program. The Exchange reimburses 100% tuition for grades above C- in approved courses at any accredited college or university for up to 18 credits per academic year.
